Sprowston Methodist Church have been busy over the last few weeks with two events with local schools.

On the 7th of December they had the whole of year 2 (6-7 year olds) from Cecil Gowing Infant School visit the church for the school day to learn all about what Christmas means to Christians.  They told the nativity story focusing on the coming new born king with videos, games, activities and crafts.  A great time was had by both adults and children.

On the 15th of December a team of volunteers from the church went to Lodge Lane Infant School for the morning to show what Christmas means to Christians.  They told the nativity story focusing on Jesus the light of the world with videos, games, activities and crafts.  A great time was had by both adults and children.

A quote Lodge Lane Infant School – “Year 2 had a wonderfully festive morning today, learning all about what Christians celebrate at Christmas, and enjoying some fabulous art and craft activities. Thank you so much to our friends at Sprowston Methodist Church for giving up their time to come and work with us, and for bringing such lovely activities with them!”
